The Training Session aimed to address the needs of information and training of the representatives of public institutions and other relevant stakeholders in the field of integration of BPs and TCNs within the Region 2. The main objectives of the event were, on the one hand, to empower the specialists from public institutions and NGOs from Region 2 to work with migrants and, on the other hand, to provide key information on working with foreigners and implementing the legislation so as to facilitate the integration process and offer adequate service and quality.

The Training Session approached aspects regarding the international, European and national legislation related to migration as well as on measures of the BPs and TCNs’ integration in Romania, focusing on the methods and tools to work with migrants while emphasizing the specific needs of the two categories of foreigners, respectively BPs and TCNs, within Region 2.

The Training Session meant to facilitate learning through concrete case studies and best practices regarding integration of TCNs and BPs in Romania, and it equally provided the participants with the opportunity to work on identifying difficulties and obstacles in the integration of migrants, offering solutions and areas of intervention to improve the current situation and presenting modalities for inter-institutional collaboration  with NGOs and other relevant actors, to support the process of integration into the Romanian society.

The event took place at Sinaia, within the project “INTEGRATION +: Services and assistance for migrants in Region 2”, funded by the National Programme – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (contract reference number: FAMI/15.03.02), with a duration of 12 months and a total value of 1.469.247,47 RON.
