The Romanian National Council for Refugees Foundation, together with the Center for Public Innovation and the Novapolis Association – Center of Analysis and Initiatives for Development, announces the launch of the CDMiR project: A common vision for migrant and refugee integration in Romania.

The beginning of the project was marked by the organization of an online conference on May 19, 2021, an event that brought together representatives of major institutions and organizations active, both nationally and in Europe, in the field of migration and integration of foreigners in Romania, as well as migrants and member organizations of the Coalition for the Rights of Migrants and Refugees (CDMiR).

On this occasion, a series of discussions and interventions on the integration of migrants and refugees in Romania took place – challenges and opportunities, cooperation between civil society organizations at European level, the experience of integration in Romania and work with migrants and refugees in our country.

Project implemented by the Romanian National Council for Refugees Foundation in partnership with the Center for Public Innovation and Novapolis Association – Center of Analysis and Development Initiatives, with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Romania, programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants 2014-2021.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the advocacy and communication capacity, representativeness and sustainability of the Coalition for the Rights of Migrants and Refugees – CDMiR, in order to develop and support a favourable framework and a common vision for the integration of immigrants and refugees in Romania.
